The DSAGSL Conference Committee is planning not one, but two great one-day conference events this March. Our annual conference will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2005, and on Friday, March 11, we will host a special Susan Peoples’ conference.
March 11 Susan Peoples
Susan Peoples has been a featured speaker at many conferences, including the National Down Syndrome Society 2003 Annual Conference held here in St. Louis. She is an educator, research clinician, and a parent of a child with Down syndrome. Her workshop at the 2003 NDSS was so well received that parents have requested she return for a full-day event. March 12 DSAGSL Educational Conference
Our annual conference, themed Courage to Look Forward, will be held the following day, Saturday, March 12. Once again, we will have programs for older teens and adults with Down syndrome featuring information on nutrition, exercise, improvisational theater and dance. Our workshop for parents and professionals will address issues facing parents of children and adults with Down syndrome of all ages. Clayton High School. Brochure.
We look forward to seeing you there!
